The actress was born on 19th September 1976 which means this post is written just five days after her birthday. Isha Koppikar belongs to a highly qualified educated family. Both of her parents are doctors. Isha Koppikar who is a pucca Mangalorean babe was born in Mumbai. She studied life sciences in Ramnarain Ruia College in Mumbai.

The road to success was steam –rolled to the gorgeous, sexy Isha Koppikar while she was in college. She was picked up by none other than Gautam Rajadhyaksha for a photoshoot. Isha went on to win the MISS TALENT prize in the 1995 MISS INDIA COMPETITION. Isha Koppikar had her hands busy as she featured in ad-endorsements from Rexona, Coca Cola to Camay and L’Oreal.
Isha started off her career in Tamil films, where she debuted in Kaadhal Kavidai in 1999 opposite Prashanth. The film was a blockbuster and Isha was noticed for her performance, so much that she received the Filmfare award Best Female Debut in Tamil. Her second film En Swasa Katre, was another hit that put her second in demand only to the reigning queen at that time, Simran.
Isha Koppikar got minor roles in Bollywood in films like Fiza(200) and Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat(2001). Isha Koppikar finally made a splash and arrived with her sexy entry in Company in the year 2002. The song, she featured in, called ‘Khallas’ became popular and she became famous as the Khallas girl. The song was so famous and portrayed the amazing Isha so well, that she won the 'Most Exciting New Face' at the Stardust awards.
Isha Koppikar received a Filmfare nomination for her role as a villain in Qayamat: City Under Threat (2003). Isha then created a sensation as she played the role of a dyke in a lesbian film Girlfriend(2004). The move flopped but there was no stopping the sexy Isha Koppikar. In fact, Isha Koppikar turned out to be the lucky mascot of most movies she featured in like Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, D, Kaante,Hum Tum,36 China Town and Don-The Chase Begins in 2006. However the best performance of Isha Koppikar remains in Kya Kool Hain Hum, the sexy comedy of 2005. Isha was a treat to watch as a spitfire sexy policewoman. She excelled in comedy in her role as Urmila Martodhkar Truly, Isha is complete performer, sexy, voluptuous and superhot. 2007 however has not been so gracious for Isha so far as her films Darling and Saalam-e-Ishq flopped. However there is no stopping back for this talented actress who can rise to fame anytime.
